Embedding the other end of the rod into the sand, and laying back in in his chair, he popped the cap off a bottle of corona and settled in for a day of fishing.

Stan was up early, eager to get some fishing in before the day truly started. A new stock of lures, some reworking of old lures, and a feeling of almost boyish glee had him out at the beach by the cove, trying his luck.
